Kde se vzaly
Gumičky jménem Rainbow Loom (Duhový tkací stroj) se dostaly na trh v roce 2011, ale chvíli trvalo, než se staly skutečně fenoménem. Jejich tvůrce, pan Nga žijící v Americe, začal tím, že pro své dcery vyrobil prototyp tkalcovského stavu z dřevěné desky, připínáčků a zubních háčků. O nějakou dobu později, právě v roce 2011, už se výrobky prodívaly, nejdříve jen v Americe, dnes už celosvětově. Běžný set obsahuje stav, ministav, háček, 600 kusů barevných gumiček a 24 klipů ve tvaru C, kterými se náramky zakončují.
Pozor na napodobeniny
Když budeš gumičky pořizovat, dej si velký pozor, jaké kupuješ. Testy totiž u některých napodobenin originálu prokázaly výskyt velkého množství ftalátů, které jsou nebezpečné. Zatímco v produktech schválených Evropskou unií je maximální povolené množství ftalátů pouze 0,1%, v některých gumičkách se vyskytovalo až 40%, což už je množství, které může působit rakovinotvorně. Ověř si, co kupuješ, a zaměř se na originál. Gumičky Rainbow Loom jsou otestované a bezpečné.
Gumičky Rainbow Loom nemůžeš sehnat, nebo jsou pro tebe moc drahé? Podívej se po jiných, které jsou osvědčené a v pořádku. Poznáš to podle značky CE, která označuje výrobky kontrolované Evropskou unií a splňující všechny bezpečnostní požadavky. Bohužel existuje i jiná značka CE, která označuje pouze to, že výrobek pochází z Číny, vypadá ale takřka identicky. Pro srovnání ti zde přidáváme obrázek.
Na levé straně vidíš správnou značku. Čtvercová síť ani půlkolečka doplňující písmenka ve znaku nejsou, slouží pouze jako ukázka poměru velikostí. Značka od Evropské unie má písmena C a E dále od sebe. Zato když se podíváš vpravo, můžeš vidět, že písmena jsou prakticky hned u sebe.
